Desomand-san Farewell party [21st November 2025]

we celebrate and say goodbye to Desmond-san after his successful defense. He delivered an outstanding presentation today and demonstrated unique, high-quality work. This moment marks the end of an important journey filled with hard work and dedication. We are grateful for his contributions to the lab and for the time we spent working together. As he moves on to the next chapter, we wish him all the best and much success in the future.

End-of-year party party [19th December 2025]

Today we come together to celebrate the end of another year in our lab. This year was filled with hard work, learning, and teamwork, and every member of the lab played an important role in our progress. We shared successes, and supported one another along the way. Thank you all for your dedication and collaboration, and here’s to a well-earned celebration and an exciting year ahead. I would also like to send my best wishes for the New Year: Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu (あけましておめでとうございます) — Happy New Year!

 

Japanse culture events

Our lab members had a wonderful experience learning about Japanese culture through traditional food and clothing. From tasting authentic dishes (labmembers had a dinner eating sushi) to trying on beautiful Yukata (4 labmembers was joining an events for wearing Yukata), it was an inspiring way to appreciate Japan’s rich heritage. These moments of cultural exchange deepen our understanding and strengthen the bonds within our diverse lab community.

 

Fun day

Our lab students enjoyed a fun-filled break playing table tennis, sharing laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition! It was a great way to unwind, strengthen bonds, and refresh our minds outside the lab.

 

LADIES labmembers special events

To celebrate the vital role of women in our lab and promote equality, ladie are organizing special events and trips exclusively for our female members. These activities aim to foster empowerment, connection, and recognition of their contributions to science and innovation. Together, we continue to build an inclusive and supportive research community where everyone can thrive.

Our lab came together for a delightful barbecue party, filled with delicious food, laughter, and great company!It was a perfect opportunity to relax, share stories, and enjoy the warm atmosphere outside of our research routine. A memorable day of friendship, teamwork, and good vibes all around!
